INTO THE WILD FOR KIDS

WHO WE ARE ?

We are a group of educators, outdoor leaders and nature mentors who gathered together to start a wilderness school with the aim of connecting kids with nature.

WHAT IS OUR INSPIRATION ?

We follow the " Coyote Mentoring " method - which allows natural curiosity to emerge by blending modern and ancient ways of connecting with nature and promoting community.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER ?

We offer ways to encourage kids to explore the world around them. Help children to engage with each other and deepen their appreciation of nature.

AWARENESS GAMES

To activate mind's deep capacity for observation, connection, sensory awareness, curiosity and pleasure in learning - and the importance of cultivating stewardship with some consciousness.

SIT SPOTS

A sit spot can become like an anchor in your child’s life - a place to settle down, cultivate present moment awareness with a quieter mind and to observe the flow of reality occurring around you.

PRESPECTIVES

Let kids be kids in the great outdoors. Kids explore the wonders of nature and gain outdoor skills while also gaining self-confidence and an appreciation for the natural world.

PLAYING

AROUND

We offer well-structured, engaging activities that will inspire, excite and encourage children to reconnect with nature - and to have a whole load of fun in the process.

HOW TO TELL A STORY

Learning how to use our body and our voice to interact with the audience. Wear costumes and reflect on breathing and eye contact when telling the story.

NATURE EDUCATION

Are you ready to go wild in the woods ? You will learn the essentials. We will teach you all you need to know, from building a shelter, to making a campfire, your own tools and even how to get drinking water from the great outdoors. You will also learn the respect for the natural world.

THE ART OF QUESTIONING

Developing skills in the art of questioning. Learning how body language is an important factor in questioning and other insights to lead to becoming a skilled questioner.

Marijn Bosscher

My name is Marijn Bosscher and originally I come from the Netherlands. I graduated from my bachelor's in humanism, parts of these studies were: psychology, religious studies, education and philosophy. During my studies, I started tutoring children who are in Waldorf school, taught refugee children during the summer and worked at a school in Amsterdam. I greatly enjoyed these teaching experiences. My dream was when I started travelling to see multiple schools so that they can enrich my view on education. Now I'm very excited for a new adventure at the Into the Wild for Kids school.
